QR Code Attendance Tracking and Scanning

The QR code assigned to each individual can be used to scan attendance for Seminars, Courses, and your Course Lesson.    


To setup attendance:

  1. Search and view the seminar you are working with
  2. Navigate to the student section and edit
  3. Toggle the attendance option on or off


To take attendance from a web browser:

  1. View the appropriate seminar or course
  2. Navigate to the student section
  3. Select the 'Options' menu for the student you would like to mark as present
  4. Select the 'Mark as Present' option


To Scan attendance from a web browser including mobile device:

  1. Login to Coursettra using the device of your choosing.   (Access using your device browser such as safari or chrome).
  2. Open the item (event, course, seminar) you wish to take attendance.   
  3. Click on the appropriate "Scan Attendance" link located at the top of the Student section.  
    1. Take attendance by scanning QR code (uses the Camera on your device)
    2. Take attendance by entering QR code (uses the keyboard input, or hand-held scanning device using keyboard entry aka: USB)

*When entering QR by keyboard entry, the format will look like:   1|1|5700|8cc2feee-901c-ec11-a85c-8b961759e5ea



Once scanned a confirmation of the student you have scanned will appear, confirm to mark as present.  


NOTE:  Marking a student as present for the seminar, will automatically mark them as present for any courses associated to the seminar that also require attendance.
