I am the Supervisor of Field Technology at Southwest Gas, and we are requesting a system enhancement to improve the user experience and streamline administrative setup within the IRTH platform.
Specifically, we would like all “Indicator Settings” under “Profile Settings” to default to “Display but don’t play sound.” This change would significantly reduce setup time for administrators onboarding new users and help avoid confusion caused by unexpected alert sounds from user devices.
Additionally, we request that any new “Indicator Settings” introduced in future updates also default to “Display but don’t play sound.”
Our team currently supports over 900 active IRTH users, with new accounts being added regularly. Implementing this change would provide meaningful operational efficiency and improve the overall user experience.
Just for reference—it's possible to configure default indicator settings at the group level for existing indicators; selecting 'Do not display any indicators' in the Select Indicators task item. Doing so will override individual user settings and allow you to establish a standard default value, helping to streamline setup when onboarding new users.
I’ll go ahead and add your suggestion for new indicators to our list of customer-requested enhancements for review.
